A beautiful place that’s easy on your loved ones and built for making memories. Here, you can hang with your guests onsite for an entire weekend or up to a week. Let the aunts take over the kitchen and make your favorite family dishes. Sit on the porch swing and talk with folks you haven’t seen in ages. Or, if you are a camp director at heart, set up games to see which of your friends really knows how to paddle a canoe on your own private lake.

You’ll have access to over 150 acres of natural beauty—meadows, quiet woods, and a shimmering private lake that reflects the sky. Imagine exchanging vows beneath a canopy of trees, beside the water’s edge, or in front of our beautiful stone fireplace in the lodge. The property is filled with cozy spaces for guests to gather, laugh, and linger—whether you’re sharing morning coffee by the fire or stargazing after the last dance. Every corner of Camp Woodbury feels timeless, personal, and deeply connected to the land. We’ll share how other couples have used the space and help you make it your own, whether it’s winter or summer.
Seasonal Options
During warmer months, you can enjoy outdoor ceremonies and receptions under the sky. However, we strongly recommend a tent to stay ahead of Michigan’s unpredictable moods. Most weddings span an entire weekend but longer stays are welcome.
During winter months, the lodge is available for your special day. Host your ceremony by the giant stone fireplace, then cozy up with loved ones in our cabins. Cabin rentals are also available for intimate weddings (up to 40 guests) for an additional charge.

We provide:
The entire camp, lodge, and all the cabins (except November through March when the lodge and cabins are priced separately for one-day events)
Bed linens, towels and coffee in all cabins
Tables and table linens, chairs, dishes, glassware, flatware and service ware for up to 150 people for ceremony and dinner
Use of the commercial kitchen in the lodge for family meals and catering staging
A private 20-acre lake, boats (canoes, kayaks, rowboats, and peddle boats), and fishing gear
Outdoor games (volleyball, croquet, badminton, cornhole, bocci ball)
Indoor comfy chairs, pool table, piano and board games
Deck seating for 20-100
Cedar arbor for the ceremony
Two indoor fireplaces and outdoor firepit with firewood provided
Staff assistance to stage the lodge and get everyone parked for the main event
You’ll handle:
Clearing, dishwashing and kitchen clean up (Skip KP duty! Hire a caterer and rent your dishes.)
